Bayulor Private Plantation
It is a hidden private plantation, located in the foot of Mount Raung, ranges from 450-850 meters above the sea level. It covers approximately 748 hectares area. It is a beautiful scenery place formerly known as colony, which land is arranged by their own. The people live in six villages; they survive from abaca, coffee, clove, coconuts and spices planted. Here is your chance to experience the real life of the locals; no outsiders’ hands are involved. Experience the hidden plantation estate with picturesque view on grassy track through the clove, coffee, and abaca plantation; including the coffee and abaca processing factories that are powered with water turbine installed in 1927 by the Dutch. G-land (Plengkung)
Plengkung is known as one of the best surfing beaches in the world. The word of “G” in G- Land derives from Grajagan, the name of the bay where the huge waves were found at the south of the Banyuwangi. It is surrounded by virgin tropical land forest. G-Land offers the world’s most demanding surfing sport and recommended for professional surfers only. May to October is the best time for surfing. No doubt it is a world of surfer paradise.

Ijen Plateau / Ijen Crater
The Ijen Plateau lies in the centre of the Ijen - Merapi - Maelang Reserve, which extends over much of the mountainous region to the west of Banyuwangi, bordering or, the Baluran National Park. A luminous blue/green crater lake which surface is streaked in wind-blown patterns of yellow sulphur lies at the far eastern end of the plateau and is without doubt one of the most impressive of East Java's natural wonders. The lake can be reached from either the east or the west. The latter is the more popular approach, since it takes just an hour and a half to hike up the mountainside from the road's end. Ijen Crater is the world's largest highly acidic lake, which depth is 200 m and height is 2.300 m above the sea-level; it contains of approximately 36 millions cubic meter of steaming acid water, shrouded in a swirling sulphur cloud.
Sulphur is mined at the lake's edge and the average yield is nine to twelve tons per day. Experienced sulphur collectors, who are paid by weight, are able to transport loads of up to 90 kg to the top of the crater and then 17 km down the mountainside to Banyuwangi, mostly on foot. After arrival at the factory, the sulphur is treated for use in the production of medicines as well as for processing sugar.

Menjangan Island, One of The Best Diving Spots…
As part of Bali Barat National Park, Menjangan Island is well known for its magnificent underwater world, beautiful coral reefs found nearby and best site for fishing. Another attraction of the island is the protected deer. Menjangan, an inhibited island about 10 km offshore, offers deep coral reef walls and is one of Bali's best diving sites. There are a few diving sites with good conditions and excellent visibility to choose from at Menjangan. It's also an interesting site for snorkelling. Menjangan also has a wreck, known as the 'Anker' because of its heavily encrusted anchor at the top of the reef. Fixed moorings have been built to prevent damage, and the island is reachable within less than 30-minute boat-ride from Ketapang Indah Hotel.

Muncar Beach
Muncar is one of the biggest fishing ports in Indonesia. The view of fishermen activities in the harbor can be seen here with various ornamental and decorated traditional and modern fishing ships. It is easy to reach the place, there are public transportation is available till the coast. Muncar beach is located on the south west of Ketapang.

Kalibaru
Kalibaru River, which length is about 5 km, is an exciting place for the adventure rafting. The clean water from the slope of Mount Raung, a virgin panoramic view of hill, river cliff, forest, plantation, and friendliness of villagers will give you an unforgettable river trek journey. Kalibaru is the most west district within Banyuwangi Regency. It takes about one and half hours from the Ketapang Indah Hotel. Kalibaru constitutes a high land. The weather is cool and the scenery is beautiful. There are many coffee and cacao plantations. Another interesting point here is visitors can enjoy the train tunnel under a mount of Merawan by train. The visitors can see the experts work making variety choices of kitchen sets and buy them which are sold along the road at Kalibaru district.

Sukamade Beach
Sukamade Beach is about 97 km to the south west of Ketapang. It is a natural and quiet place, which discovered by the Dutch in 1927. The 1200 hectare estate is an active plantation that produces rubber, coffee and cacao. Sukamade is the East Java Natural Resources Conservation which is located within Merubetiri National park. It is turtle spawning ground, where five species of sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs. A night adventure tour to Sukamade is an unforgettable trip. You will be guided by a natural resource ranger to find sea turtles come to a shore to lay egg. You can see a female turtle lays more than one hundred eggs on the sandy beach.
